About the Job

UniCourt is searching for a Senior Manager Quality Assurance, who will lead QAs from various teams and provide effective guidance. QAs in UniCourt’s various teams perform tests on different parts of our product, including our UI, APIs, and data sets to ensure the best user experience for our customers.

UniCourt is seeking an energetic Quality Assurance Engineering Manager who has great people and project management skills with SDLC experience. This role requires the ability to plan resource allocation for software testing across multiple projects and teams and be able to set processes to ensure product quality before every release. A strong background in testing is necessary to succeed in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and steering QA initiatives for over six different teams with over 25 QAs.
• Set up standard processes for QA such as test planning, test case, and release management.
• Meet the product quality standards and present them to the Product team.
• Improve the process of monitoring, reporting, and managing test runs and test results.
• Design, develop, review, and execute test plans and test cases along with team specific QA members.
• Implement functional/acceptance tests, integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, and security tests in different parts of the product as necessary.
• Write automate tests using Python and other scripting languages and adopt test tools and set them up in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant QA experience.
• Managed QA teams with more than 10 team members.

Required Skills

• Excellent management skills with an infectious positive attitude
• Experience using Agile Project Management tools like JIRA
• Passion for testing.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience adopting a variety of tools for performance tests (K6, Locust, JMeter, etc.), UI tests (Selenium, Playwright, etc.), API tests (Karate, etc.), data integrity tests, and security tests.
• Experience setting up aggregated reporting systems such as Report Portal or similar systems.
• Experience setting up test pipelines in CI/CD using gitlab, Jenkins, or other similar tools.
• Experience using any version control tools such as GIT or SVN.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
